As a protest against the everlasting Increase In the tax on beer, the Belgian breweries dosed yesterday, the employees 'participating a procession in which 40,000 marched through the streets accompanied by 70 bands, with banners emblazoned with demands for cheaper beer. Special trains and motor coaches brought many In from the country to participate in the demonstration.
