TEMPERANCE UNION.
THE CAMBRIDGE BRANCH. •At the monthly meeting of . the Cambridge branch of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, Airs J. AL Jones, of Hamilton, occupied the chair. There was a large attendance, including members of the Fencourt branch. Airs Jones gave a short addnfss.
■Mrs A. \V. {Martin, the local 'president, was the recipient of a longservice badge, and on behalf of the local union, Mrs G. 11. Palmer presented Mrs Martin will) an afternoontea service, as a token of appreciation of her ten years' untiring work in Cambridge. iFloral gifts were also made to -Mrs Martin and to Mrs Jones (Hamilton) and Mrs Bartlett (Fcncourl). During the afternoon items were rendered as follows: Solos, Mrs ChatHeld, Mrs N'odder, Mrs Easter; duet, Misses X. and X. Easter, and recitation, 'Mrs Bartlett.
