CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.
FUNCTION AT FENCOURT. The 25th anniversary of the Fencourt Methodist Church was celebrated this week, when the Rev. J. Richards presided over a large attendance. The secretary’s report showed a healthy and developing state of the church affairs. Appreciative reference was made by the chairman to the faith and fidelity of the pioneers who began the work of the church in the district 25 years ago. Mr. XV. F. Beer, who lias held office as secretary for the trust for 25 years, was thanked for his devoted services. A birthday cake, with 25 candles was sliced and sold for Hie beiiotil of lln- church funds. An enjoyable programme was provided by Mrs. Bartlett, Misses Easier, G. Beer. S. Carson, A. Tripp: Messrs. B. Murray, T. Wallace, Hicks, K. Robinson, P. Murray and L. Parker.
