OLD MAN INJURED. BROTHER’S LUCKY ESCAPE. (Special to Times. MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. While loading a heavy motor lorry with fencing posts at the Morrinsviilo Co-op. Dairy Go., yesteday, Thomas Slater, aged about 60 years, farmer uf Tallinn, overbalanced and fell from the truck, striking his head on the pavement. He was admitted to a private hospital suffering from concussion. The injured man’s brother, James slater, with Mrs E. Burrell and son, aged eight years, as passengers, started to drive the truck home, but the vehicle stalled when gohig up Sludholmc Street and ran backwards. It ran off the road, turning completely over. The occupants were thrown clear, and although they received a severe shaking were able to proceed lo their homes after attention.
