The Democrats will have a majority of 193 over the Republicans and Farmer Labour. The membership of the -House of Representatives after March 4 wiU be: — Democrats 314 Republicans US Farmer Labour ....■ 5 Total 435 The Democratic gain in the election was 93; Farmer Labour, a gain of four; Republicans, a loss of 97. Th 9 Senate. The Democrats will have & majority of 22 in the Senate, having elected 28, compared with six by the Republicans. The new Senate will comprise; Democrats 59 .
