An English, French and German bankers’ consortium capitalised £136,000,000 are financing publio works in Europe and the Near East. France and England will finance 40 per cent, each and Germany 20 per oent. The work will be allocated on the same proportion. The headquarters will be in France and the chairman* Is to he a Frenchman. The British participators are Messrs Baring and Sohroeder.
