Right Rev. F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Aotearoa, has been in Wellington on his annual visit to members of the Native race. He will be leaving today for a visit of a few days to Otaki.
The Rev. M. E. Holmes has resigned Iris assistant curacy at St. Mary’s, Karori, to take up a similar position at Tauranga.
Mr 11. Valder, New Zealand Governor of Rotary, has returned from an official visit to Rotary clubs in the North Island.
Mr. H. W. Remington, managing-di-rector of the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Company, Limited, Sydney, arrived at Auckland by the Monterey yesterday. He is accompanied b Mr. J. V. Moran, director in charge of sales and advertising.
Mr W. 11. Miers, of Rolotuna, will judge the pedigree Jersey section at "the Royal Agricultural and Pastoral Show "at Palmerston North next week. Mr Miers will leave for the Soulh on Monday night.
Canon Cyrill .1. Wyehe, chancellor or Grnhnmstown Cathedral, South Africa, and diocesan secretary and treasurer, arrived at Auckland by the Monterey yesterday, lie intends to visit his "cousin, Mr?. A. Horne, of Gisborne. Re will leave Wellington for Sydney and Tasmania on November 11.
