REMAINS OF AN AIRMAN. POSSIBLY AN ATLANTIC FLYER. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received August 2, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, August 1. The headless, decomposed body of an airman, presumably British, was found in the nets of a trawler operating between Scotland and the Hebrides. The only mark of identification was a trouser tab bearing the label: “Goodes’—officers’ stores, Portsmouth. The body, which was ’still attached to a parachute, is thought possibly to be some missing Irans-Atlantic flyer. \ .
