LOCAL OBSERVATIONS. Miss Budd, of Balfour M. Irvine and Webster, Ltd., supplies the following observations, of the weather: — Barometer. Saturday 30.10 Monday 29.90 Tuesday 30.00 Thermometer. Max. Min. Sunday 53.0 43.0 Monday .. 60.0 38.0 Barometer 30.05 with a rising tendency. Indications are for fair to overcast weather to-day and to-mor-row, with seasonable temperature and variable winds. Four degrees of frost (grass temperature) were recorded at uiaudclands this morning. | Mean temperature 49 degrees. The Weather Bureau wires-: The indications for 24 hours from 9 aim. , this day are for variable and moderate breezes. There is a prospect of fair weather and probably a hard frost tonight.
