ENJOYABLE CONCERT.

IN AID OF CHURCH FUNDS. In St. -Paul’s Schoolroom a'most successful and enjoyable concert was presented by -members and friends of tho Ladies-’ Guild in aid of the church funds. The first part of the programme consisted -of pianoforte solos by Mrs J. S. Prentice and vocal solos by Mrs Geo. Boyes. Mrs Prentice gave an artistic and finished rendering of selections from Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Schubert, Schumann and Greig, while Mrs Boyes- was heard to advantage in tho works of Hugo Wolf. Mrs Prentice gave a short talk on the life of Hugo Wolf and his compositions with special reference to the songs included in the programme. Mrs Prentice acted as accompanist to Mrs Boyes. Mrs F. M. Stevens' play, “Two Sides of a Question,” occupied the second half of the programme. The part of Grandma was taken by Mrs Kaberllarpison, that of Aunt Molly by Mrs Linder, and Peggy by Mrs W. A. Smith, and all the players gave a realistic performance of this amusing play.
