The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following market report from its London office, dated July 15, figures for the previous week being in parentheses: — Butter. —New Zealand: Salted, 105 s to 108 s (100 s lo 102 s); unsalted, 106 s to 110 s (102 s to 104 s); 105 s to 106 s equals approximately 10 7-8 d f.0.b.; first whey, 98s (935); second whey, 96s (91s). Deliveries, New Zealand, 1569 tons; in store, 4753 tons. Australian: Salted, 102 s to 104 s (98s to 995); unsalted, 1063 to 108 s (9Ss to 100 s). Deliveries, Australian, 1188 tons; in store, 2045 tons. Danish: 100 s f.o.b. (91s); 115 s to 116 s spot (103 sto 104 s). The market is firm. Retail prices unchanged. Danish, Is Id; New Zealand, Is. The price is expected to advance id on Monday. Argentine: Unsalted, 88-s to 96s (86s to BSs). Dutch: Unsalted, 112 sto 116 s (122 sto 1245). Estonian: Salted and unsalted. 89s to 91s (89s to 90s). Latvian: Salted and unsalted, 89s to 91s (89s to 90s). Siberian, 88s to 90s (86s). Lithuanian: 87s to 90s. The market is steady for these butters. The Empire Marketing Board’s estimated stocks of all butters are 823,492 boxes (last year, 797,660 boxes). Cheese. —New Zealand: White. 59sto 60s (59s to 60s) ; coloured, 58s to 59s (58s to 595) ; 58s to 60s equals approximately 5} f.0.b.; deliveries, New Zealand, 17,500 crates; in store, 80,671 crates. Canadian: White and coloured, 58s to 59s (57s- to 595); c.i.f., 57s 6d (58s 6d). Deliveries, Canadian,. 5200 boxes; in store, 86,660 boxes. English, finest farmers’, 90s to 92s (90s to 945). The market is quiet. New Zealand retail price, Bd. The board has also received the following advice from its agents in Canada.—Butter: New York, ISJ cents; Montreal, 17 cents.

The market is firm. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 595; coloured, 58s to 595; the market Is quiet. A. H. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., from W. Weddel and Company.—Butter: Danish, 115 s t-o 116 s; New Zealand, finest, salted, 105 s to 106 s; Australian, 102 s to 104 s. The market is firm. Cheese: New Zealand, white and coloured, 58s to 60s. The market is quiet. In Auckland further transactions with dairy companies have been reported up to lljd a lb f.o.b. for prompt shipment. This represents an advance of id a lb -on last week’s highest sale price, and is equivalent to several shillings a cwt. firmer than the present London quotations.
