Frozen Beef. —Market depressed, owing to low prices for Argentine chilled beef. New Zealand Porker Pigs.—Trade slow. New Zealand Baconer Pigs.— Nominal. SOURCES OF SUPPLIES. 't FOR FIVE-MONTHLY PERIOD. The principal sources of London’s imported meat supplies for the, five months ended May 1932 were as follows : Beef and Veal. —Argentina, 68,475 tons (decrease of .3993 tons for same period last year) ; Brazil, eto., 4596 (deoraase 2795); Uruguay, 2921 (decrease 211); Australia, 2798 (increase 1141); New Zealand, 1425 (Increase 168). Mutton and lamb. —New Zealand, 30,298 (Increase 418) ; Argentina, 10,434 (decrease 3792); Australia, 8264 (increase 2822). Pork and bacon. —AustraUia, 1144 (decrease 118); New Zealand, 780 (decrease 468); Denmark, 560 (decrease 111); Argentina, 304 (decrease 162). In the case of Denmark the figures arc for bacon only. The total supplies, home, and overseas killed for the period were: Beef and veal: 97,123 (decrease 6287); mutton and lamb, 62,780 (decrease 29); ,pork and bacon, 21,327 (increase 2276). The three principal sources of imports in June were: — Mutton: New Zealand, 231,262 carcases; South America, 51,362; Australia, 29,664. Lamb: New Zealand, 907,223 carcases; South tralia, 71,713.

Beef: South America, 514,084 quarters; Australia, 126,463; New Zealand, 81,046.
