EX-SOLDIERS BONUSES.
SENATE REJECTS BILL. WASHINGTON, June 18. The bill providing for an immediate cash payment of 2.100,000,000 dollars (about £-480,000,000 calculated at par) to war veterans, which was approved by the House of Representatives, lias been rejected by the Senate. The Finance Committee yesterday had reported adversely on the measure.
