AN UNIQUE SALE
PATENT RIGHTS AUCTIONED. A sale which Is thought to lie unique in the history of New Zealand took place at the premises of Messrs ,E. C. Day and Co., Hamilton, when, acting under the instructions of a mortgagee, the firm sold by auction tlie patent rights of a water heater. The patentee mortgaged tils rights to a firm, which later foreclosed and placed the patent on the market.
