PIG MARKETING.
MEETING AT TE KOWHAI. A meeting' of Te Kowhai farmers was addressed by Mr Hastings, of the pig marketing movement. The outlook for export of pork for the present and immediate future was represented, as decidedly satisfactory. Messrs E. Hochc (chairman of the board) and AY. Hanstead (organiser) were also present, and assisted Mr Hastings in answering numerous questions. it was decided to support Ihe movement, and tlie following district committee was appointed:—Messrs E. G. llockin (convenor), C. A. Magner, and J. Roberts. Ten-Aero Schemo. Councillor E. E. Onion raised the question of appointing a committee in accordance with the County Council's recent decision lo help the 10-aon; farm movement. Messrs C. (1. Corboy ami C. A. Magner were appointed lo act with Cr. union in the furtherance of the scheme for the district.
