POSITION OF LOVELOCK. FUND ALMOST COMPLETE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. Only £lO of the £SO required to he raised by the Otago Athletio Centre to send J. E. Lovelock to the 'Olympic Games now remains to he guaranteed. According to advice receivel from Wellington to-day, Lovelock has been nominated for Inclusion in the New Zealand team. Of the sum of £SO required to be found by the Otago Centre, £25 has been guaranteed by the Timaru Boys’ High School and the Old Boys' Association of the school. Lovelock, a New Zealand Rhodes scholar, created a British amateur record in a mile race in England recently. FOUBISHER TO GO. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday. The necessary £9O 'has been found to complete the fund to send the cyclist R. G. Foubisher to the Olympic Games, and he will accompany Savidan and Elliott.
