NEW ARRANGEMENT MADE(By Telcgrapli.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Negotiations have been completed ■by the management committee of the Wellington Rugby Union for injured players to be treated at Lewisham Hospital instead of the Wellington Public Hospital as formerly. This is the outcome of the decision of the hospital board to adhere to Its resolution to charge full maintenance rates. It was reported that the board had advised the union that It insisted upon

the payment of four guineas a week, plus full charge for a X-ray examination and massage treatment. Although provision has been made for a reduced scale of charges it h slightly higher than that which -obtained previously a-t th<v jnrbllo hospital. A meeting of the union delegates last evening confirmed the new arrangement. The meeling also adopted the union s proposal that Its payments made to players laid up as a result of injuries should be reduced in the case of senior, junior and third-grade playersi from 30s to 20s a week, and in the case of plavqps in the fuwe-r grades from 10s to 7s 6d.
