WEDDINGS.

COSTER—ALEXANDER. The marriage was solemnised at St. John’s Anglican Church, Te Awamutu, on Wednesday, June -1, between Flora, third daughter of Mr and Mrs C. M. Alexander, of Mangapiko, and Alan, only son of Mr and Mrs N. A. Coster, of Papakura. Rev. S. R. Wareing officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father wore a frock of cream 'satin beaute. Her embroidered veil was held in place with a circlet of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of lilies. She was attended by Miss Georgina Coster, sister of the bride-groom, who wore a cream satin frock, with cream felt hat and scarlet shoes, and carried a scarlet bouquet. Two little flower girls, Misses Norno and Betty Clark, nieces of t'he bride, wore frilled frocks of cream silk net, with scarlet sashes, and scarlet and silver headdress. They carried scarlet posies. The reception was held at the 'Commercial Hotel, where Mrs Alexander, mother of the bride, received her guests in a wine coloured ensemble with hat to tone. Mrs Coster, mother of the bridegroom was attired in a brown satin gown with hat to match. Later, ■the happy pair left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a brown costume and hat, relieved with amber. Mr and Mrs Coster will -make their future home in Mangapiko. WENHAM —FRASER. The wedding was solemnised in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Te Awamutu, on Wednesday, June 1, between Ethel Pearl Ida, only daughter of Mrs and t’he late Mr John Fraser, of Pokuru, and Francis Henry, youngest son of Mr and Mrs H. E. Wenham, of Mangapiko. The bride, who was given away by •her uncle, Mr T. J. Hickey, -yvore a gown of white georgette and lace over crepe-de-chine. Her embroidered veil was held in place with a circlet of orange blos-soms, and she carried a bouquet of white rosebuds and chrysanthemums. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Elsie Fraser, of Auckland, who wore a frock of midnight blue and beige crepe locarno with Pandan hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of autumn tinted chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Richard Wenham. At the reception, Mrs J. Fras.er, mother of the bride received her guests in a gown of navy wool crepe-de-chine with hat to -match, while the bridegroom’s mother wore a navy blue stfk frock. Later, the happy pair left for their honeymoon in the north, the bride travelling in a frock of delphinium blue with hat to match. Mr and Mrs Wenham will make their future home in Pokuru.
