CAMBRIDGE LADIES’ CLUB. L. Q. U. MEDAL ROUND. An L.G.U. medal round was played by the ladles on the Cambridge links on Wednesday afternoon. _ The. best cards handed in were as follows:- • Senior. —Mrs Freeman, 8'6 —ii —75; Miss I. Banks, ill —36—■ 75; Mrs Whewell, 104—28 —76; Mrs Ambury, 101 —24—77; Mrs Ward, 104—25—79; Mrs Alford, 106 —27 — 79; Mrs Growther, 110 —31—79; Mrs Mackv, ion—26 —83; Miss M. Short, 103—20—83. During the afternoon the members of the club entertained Miss Mary Short, whose marriage will take place shortly, at a complimentary afternoon tea.
