Sim, F. Craig, C. Mclllwraith. WAIPA COMPETITIONS. RAMBLERS v. WARATAH The game was -started at a fast pace, which was maintained throughout the match. Ramblers were the first to -score, D. Collison scoring nicely. Stung by this reverse, Waratahs set up a hot attack from whioh Wood equalised the From then -on •to half-time the game was even, with no -score. On resumption, Waratahs had Ramblers penned for a long while, but found Ryan and J oil hard to get past- Ramblers had a turn, and from -one rush, Colli-son -added another goal. From the -bully, Wood went right through and put a hot one in, and the whistle went for -time. Ramblers 3 Waratahs -2 Mr C. A. Finch was referee. JUNIORS. HIGH SCHOOL B v- HUIA. High School were the better team al the start, playing with good combination. They -soon had their opponents In difficulties. R. McMahon opened the -scoring from a scramble in the goal ■mouth. High School still pressed, but the ball -came out and Hind went through for Wellington to equalise. Rlcktt then put -in a hot -shot that was well stopped by Horsdey. Just on half-time, another Huia -rush saw Gifford add another, and Huia-s led. Immediately on resumption Emp■son added one for High School. The next score came when Empson got a nice one. Another one was put in by K. Ricldt. Then C. Rlckl-t scored and added another just on time. High School B 6 Iluias 2 Mr C. A. Finch was referee.

HIGH SCHOOL A v. UNITED,

This was another great game, hut the school did not seem to have the power to finish off their attack. N. McMahon scored for High School and Rigden for the United. Mr W. Douglas was referee.

This puts High School B one point ahead of their A team in the junior competition.

At a meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Association consideration was given 'to Auckland's repealed request for permission to enter more than one of ils sub-associations lor the Norden Cup. It was decided to reply that it was impossible to alter the conditions.

The executive of the Auckland Ladies’ Hockey Association decided at its 'last meeting to permit the Wnkajane Association to sever its connection with Auckland and to join up with tc Rotorua Association.
