Tho following temperatures were recorded in the hall of a private residence at Hamilton In May: Highest day 66 degrees, lowest day 54; highest night 61, lowest night 40; average day, 61; average night, 50. The average day temperature far May, 1931, was 61, and the average night 48. May records for period 1922-1931: Highest day, May 14, 1927, 72; lowest day, May 18, 1926, 51; highest night, May 14, 1925, 05; lowest night, May 23, 1931, 37.
