BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY.

INSPECTION OF TREES. At tile fortnightly meeting of flic Hamilton Beautifying Society last evening. at which Mr W. H. Paul presided over a good attendance, it was decided that members of the committee should inspect the trees belonging to the society, and which were planted on Hie roadways. Tim following sub-committees were set up to inspect the trees in the various areas:— Hamilton West—Messrs W. 11. Paul R. Pair. Dr. 11. Douglas. Whiliora, inciuding Franklon — Messrs F. W. Hare, It. C. Fowler. Hamilton East—Mr rt. W. Forster. Ciaudelands-—Messrs E. Quick, W. J. Pounlney, J. F. Strang.
