ADDRESS BY MR COSGRAVE FIANNA FAIL CRITICISED. A SINISTER INFLUENCE. (Times Cable.) (Received May 19, 9-45 a.m.) LONDON, May 18. The Times’ Dublin correspondent states Mr Cosgrave, the former President, addressing the annual convention of the Cunanna Ngaedheal Party, said: “Looking over the history of the past ten years one cannot fail to discern a sinister influence behind the attempts of the Fianna Fail to gain office. There has been a conspiracy against ordered administration, democratic institutions, and national economy. Cunanna Ngaedheal Party stands not for every line and comma of the treaty, hut for such alterations as are agreed to by the high contracting parties." Mr Blythe, the former Finance Minister, said that owing to their oath policy the Free State delegates might well save the price of their tickets to Ottawa. The Fianna Fail tolerated the Irish Republican Army because it wanted a machine with which to terrorise the voters at the next eleotion.
