THE HAMILTON BRANCH. RALLY TO BE HELD. At the monthly meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Labour Party unanimous approval was expressed and arrangements made to carry * out the National Executive’s scheme to secure half-a-million signatures, demanding the repeal of the reactionary legislation or the resignation -of the Government. A monster rally, both open-air and indoors, is being arranged. Prominent Labour M’s.P. will be present. Itffwas decided to dis'contJnue the Friday night open-air meetings for a month and concentrate on the petitions - J ... . Eleven new members were admitted, and the funds are in a healthy state. Resignation of Beoretary. The secretary, Mr J. H. Terry, on account of pressure of other work, reluctantly resigned the position. Many eulogistic references were made to his untiring labour. The vacancy will he filled next month.
