Auokland Hospital. —No decision was made by the Auckland Hospital Board yesterday concerning the appointment of the medical superintendent at the hospital in succession to Dr. C. E. Maguire. A special committee reportod that it had reduced Mio 38 applications to 12 and from this number the board decided to make the choice at a special meeting next Wednesday.
