THE SOLOMON ISLANDS,
WORK AMONGST THE NATIVES. MISSIONARY IN HAMILTON. Missionary work amongst the natives of the Solomon Islands was the subject of an interesting address given by Rev. A. H. Ilayman, in St. Paul’s Methodist Church last night. There •was a large attendance. Mr ilayman, who is stationed at Ruiana, in (lie Solomon Islands, was welcomed by Mr J. C. Tictjcns, who paid tribute to the visitor’s four years’ service as principal of Hie training college conducted in connection with the mission. Mr ilayman spoke of the activities of the mission, and gave much interesting information. Ho also referred to the value of missionary work in raising the child races of (lie world In the level whereon they would bo aide to take their place in bringing about the great day of international harmony, for which the world was waiting. At the conclusion of ttic address Mr T. White moved a hearty vote of thanks to the speaker.
