For repeal d,.»31,887 For continuance •••• 1,236,t>t>0 Majority for repeal 2,195,227 Kansas cast a majority of 397 and North Carolina one of OH for continuance. All the remaining States east a majority for repeal, New York. New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island being the wettest.
