RELIEF WORKS

STRIKE AT HUNTLY OVER. WORK RESUMED TO-DAY. The Hunlly unemployed, at a meeting yesterday aflernnon. received the delegates' report of a conference held in Auckland and a divisional vote was subsequently taken on Ihe question of whether the men would resume relief work. The voting showed 90 men in favour of resumption and 10 against. Work will be resumed to-day. with the exception of work on the railway, which has been withdrawn. Drainage work will be voluntary. The men had been on strike for over six weeks.
