LONG-DISTANCE FLIGHTS.
AFRICAN MAIL SERVICE. NOW IN OPERATION. PASSENGERS, MAILS, PARCELS. (Omcial Wireless.) RUGBY, April 2G. When the weekly air mail for Africa leaves Croydon to-morrow the entire 8000 miles' route lo Capetown will be open for passengers as well as mails and parcels. In the past passengers have been carried only to Nairobi. The first through passenger-carry-ing service from Capetown will also begin to-morrow. The fare of £l3O includes meals, hotel accommodation, and gratuities. The journey will take 11 days, compared with 17 by surface transport.
