Plight of tho Boy.—“I think the most pathetic, ami possibly the most tragic, aspect of the present economic position of the country is tiie plight of the boy,” said the Rev. J. R. Blanchard, speaking at the annual meeting of the Wellington Boys’ Institute. “The average boy to-day la right up against it," he continued, “lie cannot get work, which means the loss of the best years of his life, because the economic position seems against him. . . . But the awful thing that is happening in many a boy’s soul is the feeling that he is not wanted, and for a hoy to be made tr feel that, by pressure of circumstances, nobody wants him, then —- there is a possibility that lie will da anything."
