The English cricketers to visit Australia will leave Sydney for New Zealand on March 10, 1933. The counties have agreed to the team returning later than was proposed in order to permit it to tour New Zealand. The news that the English team is to visit the Dominion will be received with delight by all cricket enthusiasts. The New Zealand Council made application some time ago For the tour to be extended to this Dominion, but the Australian Board of Control was not in agreement with the proposal. Howover, the M.C.Gs did not view Australia’s action with favour. Further representations by the New Zealand Council have now made the tour definite. It will be the first occasion on ' which a thoroughly representative English test team lias visited the Do- ■ juinion.
