Mastorton’s Finances Sound.—ln a statement on the Unancial position of the Masterlon borough the .Mayor, Mr T. .lordan, slated at a meeling of Ihe Masterlon Borough Council that at the beginning of ihe financial year it had a credit, in Ihe dislriet fund of £2350. I! had reduced Ihe rale, by 10 per con I, and at the, end of Ihe year it had a credit of £|SB3. Tim total rale levied was £20,027, and of this sum the treasurer had cnlleeted f2S,n.'!7 by March 31 in round figures, 03 per cent of tho total.
