N.Z. TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. NOMINATION OF MANAGER. (By Telegraph.—Press AssoclaMon.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The Canterbury Rugby Union has nominated Mr F. T. Evans, . a well known referee, as manager of the 1932 All Blacks to tour Australia. No Rugby matches under the Canterbury Union's control will be broadcast this season. i NEW ZEALAND UNION. TWO SELECTORS APPOINTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) , WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union, at a meeting this evening, appointed Mr E. McKenzie, Wairarapa, and Mr A. McDonald, Otago, as selectors of the New Zealand Rugby -team which is to tour Australia this year. For the inter-island match to be played at Christchurch on June 3, Mr McKenzie will select -the North Island team and Mr McDonald the South Island team. Mr S. Dean, who presided, said the Golden Bay-Motueka Union had been advised of the decision of the New Zealand Union to send a Maori team on »northern tour this year. The New Zealand Union regretted it was unable to send a team to the Seddon Shield districts this season, but would consider doing so next year. Wants to Join Waikato* An application was received from ■the Rotorua sub-Union for permission to secede from the Bay of Plenty Union and affiliate with the Waikato Union. Mr Dean said that before the application could be considered it was necessary to have the recommendation of -the Bay of Plenty Union, and consideration of the application would have to he postponed until this was received.
