Anzao Day. A record attendance of Returned Soldiers and settlers from town and country districts assembled to commemorate Anzac Day. Addresses were delivered by the Deputy Mayor, Mr T. Carroll, the president of the Returned Soldiers Association, Mr Galey Alexander. and Hie Rev. E. R. E. Ross. • It was announced that £BO had been raised on Poppy Day. Returned Soldiers. There was a record attendance at the annual meeting of the Te Kuiti District Returned Soldier?’ Association. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr J. C. Holleston; president, Mr 0. R. Cook; secretary, Mr J. 11. Thornton; deputy president, Mr W. Rundle; executive, Meslrs W. EL Caley-Alexander, A. C. Shearer, A. C. I’inlayson, Mostyn Jones, E. Jones, 11. Inncs, K. T. K. Dodds, C. Snow. w. Grey, W. Reid, J. F. Wilson, A. Flux, F. Ongley, C. 11. Tate, W. J. Thompson, ‘H. E. Millar, Farrow and G. Bennett.
