WHOLEMEAL WALNUT BREAD. 1 Cup Sisley’s Wholemeal 2 Cups Sour 1 Cup chopped walnuts Small teacup sugar 3 Teaspns. baking powder 2 Eggs. Large pinch salt. Enough milk to bind to soft dough. Chop walnuts, sieve flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs and sugar well. Mix in other ingredients. Greased tin. Moderate oven 30-40 minutes. When using eggs do not discard the shells. C-ushed with a rolling pin to a fine powder they make an efficient scouring medium; a little shaken on a scrubbing-brush will remove stains from white woodwork.
