MUSIC EXAMINATIONS.
TRINITY COLLEGE ENTRIES. INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR. The local practical examinations under the auspices of the Trinity College of Music, London, will he held in Hamilton towards Hie end of this year. A total of 84 entries has been received by (he local centre secretary (Mr R. \V. Bennett), these iignres representing aii increase of four o\ei last juu s candidates. The fellowship and licentiate cxiuiiiuations will each he taken by one candidate, while nine are seeking the associate diploma. There are 11' higher local candidates, including four elocution, nine senior (one elocution), lb intermediate (four elocution), ‘-’'-l junior (live elocution, one violin), II preparatory (three, violin) and live first steps. D. Vaughan Thomas, M.A., ot London, who adjudicated last vear, has been appointed to take the forthcoming examinations. !
