MAN MISSING.

BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED. (By Telegraph. —Press Association.) GHEYMOUTH, Saturday. Jack Murphy (24) is missing, and is believed to be drowned. He told several people yesterday afternoon that he intended to jump in the Grey River, but tiie threat was not taken seriously.

It is stated that Murphy was seen to jump into the river, but notification lo the police was not given till this morning.

Murphy's people reside in Christchurch.
