Ililman. the voting was:— i A Greenwood (Cabour). 13,587; A. E. Greaves (National Conservative), I 13,2 13. This is a Cabour gain. ! Mr A. Greenwood was Minister of I Health in the Cabour Cabinet when he ! sat for Nelson and Colne. In the ! General Election he was displaced by ! Mr C. Thorpe, who had a majority of 7 ,f»8 i.
