FIVE MEN INJURED.

ACCIDENT ON AUCKLAND WHARF. WIRE HAWSER SNAPS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Friday. Five men were injured Ibis morning at ibe Central Wharf, when a wire hawser attached to a line of trucks containing basic slag and drawn by an engine, snapped. Two men were sent to hospital— James Redman, of Grey Lynn, and Amos Moore, of ML Albert. The former sustained serious injuries to the head, and Moore concussion and leg bruises. The olh°r three sustained minor injuries, but were able to proceed to their homes.
