THREE MEN CHARGED. FINES TOTAL £l4O. i (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WHANGAREI, Monday. Fines totalling £l4O were imposed on threo men in the Magistrate’s Court arising from breaches of the Gaming Act.

Arthur Lawrenco Lambess, for keeping a ’common gaming house, was fined £SO.

Peter Armstrong and William Marting, for bookmaking, were fined £SO and £4O respectively. The cases were the outcome of police raids on the 9th Inst.
