RACING CAR’S CHANGES. NEW REVOLUTION COUNTER, FITTED TO ENTERPRISE. . KAITAIA, Sunday. The condition of the Ninety-Mile Beach at about six o’clock yesterday afternoon was almost lit for Mr Norman Smith to race upon with his speed car, the Fred H. Stewart Enterprise. Advice was received by Mr Smith yesterday that the revolution counter he wished to add to the equipment of the car had been shipped from Syuney. The present instrument on the facia board has not yet been disconnected, as Mr Smith will use it If he takes the car out for a trial run before the new counter arrives. The Enterprise has a calorimeter on the radiator cap Ito show the driver the temperature [of the water, and the dial can be seen jblearly from the cockpit. The new ; revolution counter will be mounted [near the calorimeter, directly in the driver’s line of vision.
