V 1 The Chinese steamer Sun Wah collided with the British steamer Kinsham early this morning on the-Canton river. There was the greatest .excitement among the passengers, including a.party of Australian University students-, on the Kinsham.

The Kinsham was not seriously damaged, but the Sun Wah suffered badly. Her passengers were transferred to tha Kinsham, which later reaohed Canton.
