were arrested in the general election of 1930 for plotting- against Marshal Pilsudskl’s regime. Vincent Wltos, thep Populist leader, and thrice Premier of Poland, has been sentenced to eighteen months and Herman Liebermann, the Socialist leader to two and a-half years. Five others were sent'to gaol for periods ranging from two to three years. The trial lasted two months, and the results have caused consternation in political circles. /
