The Cinnabar mine operated at N'gaYvha Springs, near Kaikohc, on behalf of Imperial Chemical industries, Limited, has )>een closed and the employees discharged, owing to the prevailing depression. The manager of llic mine, Mr R. 11. Goodwin, left by the Aorangi yesterday on ids return to Hngland. lie declined to indicate whether there was any possibility of operations being resumed.
