SPRING MEETING EVENTS £1555 IN STAKES. The programme which the Waikato Racing Club has framed for its Spring meeting on Saturday and Monday, November 14 and 16, is to carry stakes totalling £1555. On the first day the Waikato Cup, of one mile and a quarter, will be worth £2OO, while the open sprint, the Cambridge Handicap, six furlongs, is of £125. Tlie Hamilton Handicap of £l5O, one mile, and the Kirikiriroa Handicap, of £125, six furlongs, are the leading events of tlie second day. The Waikato Hack Cup, one ■mile, which will also be among the events on the second day, is endowed to the extent of £IOO. There Is a race for two-year-olds and an Open Hurdles each day, while hack and hlgh-weight events are also catered on tlie programme.
