BASKETBALL.

LOWER WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. A knock-out tournament was played at lluntly by several basketball teams from surrounding districts. After the matches a meeting was held, which resulted in the formation of an association called the Lower Waikato Basketball Association. Final: Te Kauwhata 3, v. Convent 2. In the evening a dance was given by the Huntly girls to raise funds to send a team to Auckland, and was well patronised. ,
