CRICKET.

TE KAWA CLUB. THE ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of the Te Kawa Cricket Club there was a good attendance. It was decided to commence practice immediately. The club had a most successful year and is well in funds. The election of officers resulted— Patron, Mr P. Bertram; president, Mr S. G. Broadbent; vice-presidents, Messrs H. Marker, W. G. Neill, C. McLean and James Robertson; captain, Mr M. R. Ashton; vice-captain, Mr R. Mexted; secretary, Mr J. Elgecombe; coach, Mr H. Smart; delegate* to the Waipa Cricket Association, Messrs Broadbent and Ashton.

The club is anticipating a successful season, several new members having joined up.
