In reply to a query respecting the free importation of swine from Great Britain tin* Minister of Agriculture, the lion. A. .1. Murdoch, replied that the emoargo has always applied |< ( swine as well as to cattle and sheep. There was no foundation for any statement made that swine coming from Great Britain had been allowed free entry Into this Dominion.
