REORGANISATION PROPOSAL. PARTIES TO CONFER. (Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 13. The decision made at Manchester to-day by the cotton operatives to negotiate with the employers on the “more looms” system, about which a serious trade dispute occurred during the winter, is regarded as an important advance towards the reorganisation of the Lancashire cotton industry. It may lead to an increase of the industry’s competitive power in the foreign markets.
