HAMILTON DAIRY 4 SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly Hamilton dairy sale on Wednesday, when a heavy yarding of dairy cows and heifers came forward. The majority of the yarding lacked quality, and though practically the whole entry was quitted, no high prices were realised. Quotations: Jersey heifers, close to profit, £6 ’ss to £7 15s; later calvers, £4 5s to £5 10s; more backward, £3 to £3 15s; Jersey-cross heifers, £i to £5 10s; Frlesian-cross heifers, £3 15s to £4 ss; good sound dairy oows, £6 to £8; later calvers, £3 10s tft £4 10s. Late rates were maintained on cattle and pigs. Quotations: Porkers, £2 10s to £2 Its; good store pigs, £i 10s to £1 15s; slips, £1 to £1 8s; weaners, 6s 6d to 14s 6d; fat wethers, to £1 4s 4d; dairy cows, close to profit, £5 5s to £6; backward sorts, £2 to £4; Jersey heifers, £4 15s lo £5- 10s; fat cows, heavy £6 4s to £6 9s; medium, £4 Its to £5 16s, light £2 10s to £4 Is; forward conditioned cows, £1 19s to £2 6s; boner cows, 15s to £1 ss.
